What is the 1st step to getting extensions?
The 1st step to extensions is a Free Extension Consultation. We will talk about your needs and choose an installation method that's perfect for you. 2nd, we choose your extension hair color to match perfectly to yours or schedule a color session. Next, as soon as your ready to purchase your hair, your ready for installation.
What kind of extension hair does Janine the Hairstylist, Inc use ?
Our hair is top of the line, 100% Remy Human Hair. It can be colored, Heat Styled or anything in between and will last you up to a year.
How long do extensions last & what's the maintenance?
After the initial installation, your extensions need maintenance every 8 weeks, but the hair itself is reusable, up to 3x's!
Am I a candidate for extensions?
Everyone is a candidate for extensions! Extensions can be used on all hair types, textures and lengths. Not only can they be used to achieve long hair but also to add volume & fullness to flat, fine hair. Lets not forget about Color, many clients choose their desired hair color in extensions for a color free transformation!
Do extensions damage my hair?
Not at all! Our extension applications is 100% natural with no use of chemicals, heat, glue etc.! Giving you the healthiest, damage free method for extensions on the market! You'll notice at every maintenance appointment your hair will be longer and healthier than the last.
Can my exact hair color be matched? or can I go for a totally different color?
Absolutely, either or! So seamlessly, you will be amazed! We have over 60 shades available for custom seamless blending. Whether you want to match your own color or want to change your color completely then add extensions. Anything is possible!!
How long does my hair have to be for extensions?
We recommend you have at least 10 centimeters of natural hair for the best results!
What installation methods do you offer?
At Janine the Hairstylist, Inc. we specialize in Hand Tied Extensions, Tape extensions, I-Links & more! Each method is non damaging and will help you achieve the hair of your dreams. Depending on your hair type, length and desired results, we will determine the method best suitable for your hair at your consultation.
Can I use styling tools on Extensions?
Yes, you can use all tools (curling irons, wands, flat irons, blow dryers etc.) We recommend using a heat protectant before use of any hot tool and not getting too close to the bond.
Can I Swim With Hair Extensions?
Yes, definitely! We recommend using a deep conditioner after sun/water to keep your extensions soft, shiny & hydrated!
When & how do I remove my extension?
Your extensions can be removed at anytime, by scheduling a Extension Removal. A simple & quick removal appointment then you can take your extensions home for the next time you want them installed.
