Brazilian Blowout: Frequently Asked Questions

Updated: Aug 15, 2019

Unlike any other keratin treatment out there, the Original Brazilian Blowout is one of a kind. I get so many questions about this amazing treatment, Check out the most popular ones below:

What is a Brazilian Blowout Treatment?

The Original Brazilian Blowout Treatment smooths, eliminates frizz and improves the health of the hair. The Brazilian Blowout consist of a liquid keratin that bonds to your hair to create a protective layer around each strand, effectively diminishing frizz, sealing the cuticle, and providing armor against any external damage. After the treatment, your hair will be completely hydrated, without frizz, and more resilient to heat styling. Not to mention, with an insanely glossy shine.

What hair types would you recommend for a Brazilian Blowout?

In my experience, a good candidate for the Brazilian Blowout is anyone who has frizzy, damaged or processed hair. I have performed this treatment on every hair type (fine/course/frizzy/curly/straight, wavy) as well with extensions. In doing so, ive noticed every hair type can benefit from a Brazilian Blowout, in so many different ways. Since the treatment is fully customizable, it can be formalized exactly to your needs. Its truly amazing and one of a kind.

Can i receive Color & a Brazilian Blowout on the same day?

Yes, however, the color must be done prior to having the Brazilian Blowout treatment.

How soon can I get my hair color after receiving a Brazilian Blowout?

You should wait at least two weeks after a Brazilian Blowout to color your hair, as the color will not deposit as effectively because of the protein protective layer provided by the Brazilian Blowout. But you can receive color and a Brazilian Blowout on the same day. The color will be done first, then the treatment.

How soon can i wash my hair after the Brazilian Blowout?

You can wash your hair immediately after the Brazilian Blowout treatment, or as you would normally.

Will my hair return to its original state?

Yes, the hair will revert to its original state once the Brazilian Blowout treatment has completed its life cycle of 3 months+, however, the condition of the hair will actually improve as a result of the fortifying and conditioning nature of The Brazilian Blowout.

If you have any more questions about this amazing treatment, dont hesitate to ask!
